Brandon Wallace was the founder and driving force behind 13 Folds for Veterans. A proud U.S. Army veteran, Brandon served his country for 24 years after enlisting in 1994 and retiring in 2019. His commitment to service didn’t end when his military career did. He continued giving his time to veteran organizations and became a passionate advocate for his fellow brothers and sisters in arms.
Born and raised in Southwest Oklahoma, Brandon was a father, grandfather, partner, veteran, and friend who found joy in the outdoors, working in his yard, and spending time with the people he loved.
Above all, Brandon believed in honoring those who had served. He cherished the moments when a veteran was presented with their flagpole and American flag—the stories, the handshakes, the smiles, and the pride that came with knowing their service had not been forgotten.
Brandon passed away unexpectedly after a battle with cancer, but the vision he created lives on. 13 Folds for Veterans continues in his honor, carrying forward the mission of service, gratitude, and respect that meant so much to him.

Although Michael did not serve in the military himself, he has a deep appreciation for those who did. His work with 13 Folds is his way of giving back to the men and women who sacrificed so much for our country.
For Michael, honoring a veteran is about more than putting up a flag. It is a small way of saying, “Welcome Home.”
